Episode 12: Student Spotlight: The First-Generation Experience

For this episode Nevaeh Gomez joined me to discuss her experience and reflections as a first-generation student at Baylor on the pre-medical track. Nevaeh is a senior Medical Humanities Major, and she serves as a TA and mentor for Foundations of Medicine and First Generation Prehealth Success. Nevaeh will graduate in December of 2023 and plans to attend medical school in 2024.
